Caring, nurturing childminding in a warm family environment. Giving your little ones the love, learning, and laughter they deserve every day.
Hello, I'm Jo-Ann Overton and I run "Jammie Dodgers" Childminding Group from my home in Forest Town. Ideally located close to beautiful countryside, we have easy access to shops, parks, libraries, museums and schools. We are also on a main bus route from nearby Mansfield. We have an all-weather garden with a large fun playroom for your child to explore.
I share my home with my husband Shane Overton who is registered with Ofsted as my assistant and is DBS (CRB) checked. We have four sons Jackson, Joshua, Joseph and Jenson that also live with us. Also working with us is Claire Lacey, who is also DBS (CRB) checked and registered with Ofsted as my assistant.
I am registered with Ofsted as a childminder on the early years, the compulsory part of the childcare register and the voluntary part of the childcare register. I have my CACHE Level 3 Diploma for the Children and Young People's Workforce (QCF). My assistants all hold a current paediatric first aid certificate and full UK driving licences with insurance for school runs. We also have public liability insurance in place for our setting.
Our home is a friendly, non-smoking environment where your child will feel safe and secure in a warm family atmosphere. We know leaving your child for the first time can be a stressful time, but you can be happy in the knowledge that your child is in a secure, well-managed but homely environment. You're more than welcome to visit with or without your child.

Items to provide include: nappies and wipes, nappy cream, milk (expressed or formula), spare clothes, sun cream/sun hat/wellies (depending on weather), and any special cream or medication (written consent required).
